Shipping & Delivery

We pack and ship your packages every Tuesday and Friday from our warehouse in Zwolle, the Netherlands. Your Kendamas are usually packed by Jennifer, and sometimes by Jordi or Lex.

Over the years we have gotten experience with many different carriers and we found which ones work well to which countries. To make it easy for you to find out your options, Jordi created a tool (which you find at the top of this page) that allows you to to select your country and view all of the information we have for shipping to your country, including:

  • Available methods that we offer to your country
  • Which shipping method we recommend (based on best value for the price)
  • Possible remarks about the shipping method
  • The default cost, as well as the discounted costs when your order value is over 100€ and 200€
  • The amount of order value needed to reach free shipping per shipping method
  • The expected transit time for each method

This is how the shipping cost is determined:

  • The default shipping cost is what we pay when we buy the shipping label for your order
  • We give discounts once you reach 100€ and 200€ order value, meaning that we cover a part (about 10%) of the shipping cost you would pay.
  • In the shipping table you also find the value needed to achieve free shipping per shipping method, meaning that we cover the full shipping cost for you.
  • These discounts are aimed to share the shipping cost, making the order more affordable for you, and to incentivize you to order together with friends, saving you shipping cost.

For additional questions or remarks, don't hesitate to contact me through the chat!

Sandpaper that stays fresh

This high quality sandpaper doesn't get filled up with wood or break down. You can keep using it for years!

The sandpaper is required to maintain your spike or to repair already flattened ones. Before you apply glue, it's necessary to reshape it to it's original state. Sandpaper on a hard surface, like this one, is perfect for the job.

Have you practiced stalls yet?
"Stalling" the Ken or the Tama on the side of the cups. Stalls are super precise tricks that require a bit of friction between the bevel (hole of the Tama) and the Ken. When the surfaces are slippery, stalls become exponentially more difficult to perform.

There are 2 ways the sandpaper coin helps your stalls:

1. Sand the bevel (the hole in the Tama) slightly, so there is more surface area to stall onto. This creates more friction.
2. Sand the side of the cups (the stall points) slightly, so the wood becomes less slippery. This can help you learn and perform stalls immensely.
